Amanda is a frequent guest speaker, appearing at several colleges and universities including Suffolk University in Boston, Northwestern University, DePaul University, Illinois Wesleyan University, Columbia College, City Colleges of Chicago and Temple College in Texas. She has also presented to groups such as the Giving Institute, United for Libraries, Chicago Loop Alliance and Creative Mornings, and at the PR eLevated and Kentucky Library Association conferences. Among her many podcast appearances are Working Your Way, Arts Calling and Booklist. She is also a regular storyteller at events around Chicago including The Moth.
